Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Post-Katsucon and Life Otherwise

Katsucon was such a nice break! I arrived at the con on Thursday and didn't leave until Monday. I stayed in a suite with ~BigDannyT! It was so cool staying in such a spacious room for once! My cosplays went over rather well, which was quite encouraging.

My Naughty Nurse was put to very good use in the opening skit to the masquerade which can be watched here: [link] I'm hoping it can be a regular addition to Masquerade!

The next "con" on my list is the Sakura Matsuri in Washington DC. I won't be cosplaying this year, as it was too hot an uncomfortable for me last year with it's growing popularity, but I will be throwing together some street fashion.

As of now, I don't have any real cons planned until Dragon*Con. Frankly, cons and cosplay aren't on my mind as much as they used to be. My Dragon*Con list as of now is posted in my cons widget!

A bit of good news: I found a job at Macy's! My first day is tomorrow and I'm very nervous! I miss Busch Gardens very much though...
